Blog #7

The most challenging thing was trying to keep up with all of the blogs. i would forget that we had one or that there was a new one. I wouldn't know what to write some of the time. I didn't follow the presentation and blogs well at all. There wasn't a lot that worked well for me in the project. I was confused most of the time but kind of got it later on in it. What helped me learn was going to google! The thing that didn't work for me in this project was the blogs. I saw no point to them, I know that it was to tell you how far we got but I didn't like having to always remember to write them. Something that would of made the project better would be if there was no blogs and that there wasn't so much tot he presentation. The pictures and the information that we have to add. those are my thoughts on this project

Blog #6

A pretty basic summary of all the reasrch that i have done so far is i have started on my presantation. I have some info on my artist, about him and his childhood. Where he lived and some other normal stuff. I have a picture of my artist and a picture of my main piece. My next slide is going to be of the two i compared it too. They are by the same artist because i didn't feel like going on a search for others that i liked. I like a lot of the picutres that he has done.

Blog #5

I'm currently writing my presentation and what will be on it. The things i have it so far is the cover, the picture and working on information about his life. I'm not sure if i should add my written description into the presentation though. I need to finish working on my presentation and start on my 7th blog. I think that you should switch the presentation to 5-7 minutes. I say this because I don't know if i could ramble on about my picture and information that long.

Blog #4

I haven't learned much new today. I learned some simple stuff like his full name birth date and stuff. I haven't run into really any challenges through the project but it's not done yet so I might. I'm hoping that I don't run into any problems through out the project though. My next steps are to find a little more out about my artist even if it isn't a lot.

3rd post

I narrowed my art work down to Play. This a piece of art work done by Jacob Lawerence. I learned where he grew up and a little bit about his childhood and some other things. My next steps are finding out more about my artist and his thoughts on the art work that he does. Why he choose the one he did and things liek that

Experiences

I have learned how art is different and the different styles of art. How much art and what people inturpret art. Everyone has a differen outlook on art and what it is. I picked a piece called play. It was shadow like figures playing in an open like field. They had colored pants all different colors. There hands and feet were unnormal looking though they were enlongated.

One of the question that i had was why are there hands and feet soo long and oddly shaped? Another was why were they like shadow people, where you can hardly see there eyes, nor there mouths?
If i were to learn more about this piece of art I would search further into the artist. What he thinks of art and what he meant for this picture to mean.
